Dr Helmut Roniger is a highly respected lifestyle medicine physician who sees private patients through e-Consultation. With wide-ranging expertise in age reversal and the management and prevention of disease, he specialises in nutrition and the complementary treatment of cancer, diabetes, fibromyalgia and long Covid.
Dr Roniger qualified in medicine at the University of Vienna, Austria in 1987 before registering as GP in 1991. Following this, he pursued further training in South Africa, obtaining his specialisation in internal medicine at Stellenbosch University in 1997. After relocating to the UK in 1998, he was appointed at the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital and the Royal London Hospital of Integrated Medicine, where he would later hold the position of lead clinician. In 2001, he was appointed as a consultant physician at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where he continued to serve for over twenty years. Throughout his esteemed career, Dr Roniger has travelled extensively to undertake wide-ranging skills training, including specialist yoga medicine and Ayurveda studies at various esteemed locations in India and the UK. He has additionally completed a diploma in acupuncture accredited by the Austrian Medical Council and integrated acupuncture training for chronic pain at the London College of Medicine. Dr Roniger has also undertaken training in cancer biology and therapeutics with Harvard Medical School, extensive studies in clinical and medical hypnotherapy and holds a diploma in executive coaching and mentoring from the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Specialising in lifestyle medicine and age reversal, Dr Roniger helps patients with cancer and chronic conditions, such as diabetes to best manage their treatment and optimise their lifestyle. With his broad range of skills and multidisciplinary expertise, Dr Roniger is able to harness a variety therapeutic approaches in his practise, including applied kinesiology, stress management, homeopathy, coaching and mentoring, mindfulness and meditation, amongst many others.
Dr Roniger is well established in the field of research and his academic work is published in revered peer-reviewed academic journals.
